You can request deletion of your Am I Legal? account and the data associated with it at any time. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.

How to request deletion

Send an email to support@amilegal.net from the email address you use to sign in (this is how we verify the request is really yours).
Use the subject line "Delete my account". No other information is needed.
We will confirm by reply when deletion is complete — within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Data	What happens
Your email address and license/access record on our servers	Deleted within 30 days of your request
Sign-in session on your devices	Deleted — removed when you sign out or uninstall
On-device preferences (favorites, theme, optional birthday)	Stored only on your device, never on our servers — cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing browser data
Purchase records for paid licenses	Kept by our payment processor (Gumroad) and in our financial records as required by tax and accounting law

Note: deleting your account ends your access to any license attached to that email. If your access came through your school or employer, you can sign in again later to re-activate it.
